ICE Data Indices calculates and administers a number of different smart beta and fundamental index strategies. The Intellidex® family was revolutionary when launched as it was one of the the first smart beta indices to be utilized by an ETF back in 2003. The StrataQuant® indices apply the AlphaDEX® screening methodology, which leans on fundamental company metrics to score and select stocks across U.S. sectors.
ICE Data Indices offers thematic indices via the ICE FactSet family. Co-branded with FactSet, these indices have access to unique datasets from FactSet Research Systems Inc. which allow targeted, tailored exposure to specific megatrends and related investment themes. These unique data sets can help provide a purer thematic index without unintended or unrelated exposures.
ICE Data Indices also offers a broad suite of global equity benchmarks for custom index capabilities, benchmarking, research and product creation. The NYSE EMEA Index Family includes approximately 600 equity indices covers qualifying, listed securities across 16 European countries including the U.K. Indices covering Japan are under the NYSE APAC Index Family, with further global expansion targeted for the remainder of 2025 into 2026.

Key Features
Of the global indices the NYSE Global Equity Market Indices provide a transparent, consistent, and investable approach to benchmarking the listed security market capitalization of countries across the globe.
- Listed Country Indices include qualifying securities listed on eligible exchanges in the respective countries and may be used as starting universes for the customization of additional sector, thematic, ESG and factor indices.
- Country Indices further filter the universe for securities with a matching ICE country of risk, providing single-country index proxies.
- Selected Investible Indices are also a part of the new family, such as the NYSE U.K. Index Series, including the NYSE U.K. 100, 250 and 350 Indices, and the NYSE Europe 600 Index.
