ICE offers an Indicator service for persons advising or selling a PRIIP using system-driven logic applied across the ICE instrument database, to help identify products considered a packaged retail and insurance-based investment product (PRIIP) and which must therefore have a Key Information Document (KID) supplied.
- European PRIIPs Template (EPT) is a standardized data exchange template, containing information including:
- Summary risk indicator (SRI)
- Costs (e.g. one-off, ongoing, incidental)
- Performance scenarios (favourable, moderate, unfavourable, stress)
- Underlying fund details
- Transaction costs (using arrival price methodology)
The template is prepared primarily for distributors and insurance companies that need detailed, standardized information to prepare the Key Information Document (KID). ICE offers access to an extensive range of EPTs via feed file delivery, ICE Data Italy API or on the ICE Repository Hub, a searchable user interface.
On the 6th April 2026, the UK CCI regime is scheduled to replace the PRIIPs and UCITS frameworks that govern the disclosures made to UK retail investors on the products in scope. ICE is reviewing the requirements introduced with this regulation and preparing to support our customers with compliance solutions in the near future.
