MIAX Futures Exchange, formerly known as the Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX), was founded in 1881. The exchange began trading futures on Hard Red Spring Wheat (HRSW), which continues to trade today. In 2020 Miami International Holdings (MIH) acquired full ownership of MGEX which was then rebranded to MIAX in 2024.

National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX)
National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) is an online commodity Exchange with diverse product offerings setting a benchmark for both the agriculture and non-agricultural commodities derivatives segments. NCDEX commenced operations in 2003. NCDEX prices are widely recognized as benchmark in the domestic commodities market. Barley, wheat, and soybeans are some of the leading agricultural commodities traded on the NCDEX.
