Interest Accrual

This API enables you to read and update Interest Accrual information and/or Interest Accrual and Discount information as appropriate for consumer and mortgage loans. To use this API with consumer loans IP2201 must be enabled. This API enables you to read and maintain the Interest Accrual data and/or Interest Accrual and Discount data in the host system. The API affords the user an option to view or maintain data on both Consumer Interest Accrual data and Interest Accrual and Discount data, or to select to view or maintain information on either exclusively. Consumer Interest Accrual begins calculating from the loan boarding date forward, at the segment level, based on the balance(s) and interest accrual parameters set up for a specific loan. The Interest Accrual/Discount information allows a user to view and maintain interest accrual and the discount amortization information for a specific loan.
