Data Point

Purpose

Data Point retrieves a single value for a specific symbol and data field at a specific point in time — displayed within a single spreadsheet cell. Think of it as capturing a single point on a chart — whether that's a historical value or a current snapshot.

Data Point supports both historical data (past values at a specific date/time) and current snapshot data (the latest available value for a data field). Any output from the Quote Table or Time Series features can also be retrieved as a single cell using Data Point.
